Hey, if you want a micro-view of the kind of stuff that goes on here then picture Keith Bao and I raving and lamenting about the wonders of drupal. Keith loves the platform for the obvious community functions and that's really important for his over 700 player Vancouver Dodgeball League. Man, if the web had existed when I was a twelve year old dodgeball savant who knows how far I could have gone.

It's never easy
Hi Brad,
I'm excited about implementing a Drupal solution in the next few weeks. The talent is here... it's a matter of just doing it. I love Drupal sites like http://www.nowpublic.com and http://www.changeeverything.ca.
I read a quote: "knowing is not enough, you must do; wanting is not enough, you must act."
That quote is really bugging me. I would love this site to be "adopted" by the Drupal community -- an organically developed site created by local developers. This can be a hell of a sports community. If created right, it can change up the leisure sports scene in Vancouver, and maybe eventually the world.
Got to keep moving forward.
Maybe next year we can have a blogger's Dodgeball tournament after Moose Camp.
That would be a blast! Would there be any interest...?
Bring your laptop, head and wrist bands, and meanest game face.
